The Follies,  - family tourist attractive 20 mins walk away.  This is a family walk although there are steep sections into cliffs and caves.  A truly Victorian folly with breath taking views.  Caspian Tea Room serves snacks.

Hawkstone Hall, Marchamley – the main entrance is in the middle of Weston under Redcastle down a long picturesque drive which is about a 40 min walk.  For more details on the Hall and opening times please follow the link .  There afternoon tea is delicious.

Alderford Lake  - offers many attractions, a brisk walk round the lake and then a great lunch.  Children play area, open water swimming and plants for sale.

Shrewsbury Town is 10 miles away where this medieval town is home to many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants.  The river severn runs through the town and trips on board “Sabrina” can show a different look from the river of Shrewsbury.

 

Whitchurch Town is 8 miles and offers local shopping, tea rooms, restaurants etc.

 

Wem Town is 4 miles and offers a supermarket, swimming pool and local facilities.

Hoo Farm and dinosaur world, Telford, Shropshire.  A children's activity farm.

The living Museum at Bridgnorth.  A world heritage site the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.

Chester is 1 hour away, a roman town with an intact roman wall that can still be walked.  Great River Side activates are available.  Chester Races is also a high point on chester's calendar where flat racing hosts the Chester Vase in May.    Chester Zoo is also another well known attraction. A beautiful town full of life and excitement.
