Our Story

The Old Dairy is a luxury holiday cottage  located in North Shrophire in the picturesque village of Weston under Redcastle and only 7 miles from the Medieval  city of Shrewsbury. The Old Dairy is fully refurbished former dairy with built in kitchen including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, open plan living/dining area with log burner for the perfect nights in.  2 bedrooms both ensuite & TV.  Full Wifi is available with Netflix and Amazon TV.  The sun drenched courtyard garden is totally private, with garden furniture and luxury private hot tub

  

The property is totally private and will accommodate 4 people they are perfect for families, couples or  small groups looking for a luxury escape to the country.

When trying to locate us please follow the postcode SY4 5XA Ivy House Farm, and look for The Old Dairy  sign and stone sign for Ivy House Farm.  The property is located on the left hand side of Ivy House Farm.

We operate a two night minimum stay, check in is from 3:30pm onwards and check out is 10am. 

 

Weston under Redcastle hosts 2 championship golf courses, at Hawkstone Park Golf Club, a restaurant is available on site. Hawkstone Follies is also very close by and is open daily in the summer and is great for all the family.  Hawkstone Hall is also within the Parish and provides afternoon teas and meals.   Hodnet is 3 miles and is home to The Bear pub/restaurant.  Wem town is 4 miles away and has a supermarket, resaurants where delivered take aways are available.

 

We do draw your attention that Ivy House Farm, is still a working farm and the property is close to farm buildings.
